These are the types of items that will be available – exact items may not be available on the day.

Household items from recycled native Australian hardwood

Terracotta pots
from rescued broken ceramics

Plants stands/small tables from rescued trees, and heat bags from fabric scraps

Artworks from rescued
and unwanted objects

Earrings from leather off-cuts, tops from fabric samples, decorative table lights from upcycled bottles, various items made from upcycled jeans.

Artworks and household items made from rescued, reclaimed, and reformed finds.

Messenger bags made from fish food and concrete product waste (Cambodia and Vietnam), document folios made from street banners, household packaging, and motorcycle seats (Indonesia), iPad covers from mosquito nets (Cambodia) and jewellery made from unexploded ordnance (old bombs!)
Profits donated to NGOs working in the regions including IWDA (the International Women’s Development Agency www.iwda.org.au).

De-funked items!

A falling-apart stool given a new seat, legs and paint becomes a handy and flexible table or plant stand.

Rescued cake tins cleaned up and painted in bright and cheery colours become unique hanging displays for special items.

Origami gift boxes made from discarded, out-of-date wallpaper sample books.

Gift tags made from used greeting cards – Christmas, birthdays and multi-occasion, all-purpose tags.
